If you’re in need of having your aftermarket PCB soldered into your TCU we can help!
PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING PURCHASE!!!
Why is this necessary?
When using an after market TCU like TurboLamik in conjunction with your 8HP, it is required that you remove the old TCU board and solder in a new Power Control Board which allows you to control the transmission with the new aftermarket Transmission Control Unit.
Why choose this service?
Soldering can be a very tedious task requiring the knowledge and patience to ensure good strong connections and prevent potential problems such as shorts in the PCB circuit itself.
If not done properly, you’ll come to a point where you’ve installed everything, end up with an error code potentially related to the PCB installation, and a transmission that will not function properly.
Which may leave you in a position where you have to replace the TCU board housing, PCB board, and potentially damage other important components of the transmission.
HOW IT WORKS:
Contact us by email either by the “Contact” tab or on the “Chat” app embedded on the site. Once we can confirm this service is suitable for you, you will then ship us your TCU housing and PCB board for us to modify.
After soldering we will check continuity, resistance, voltage measurements at the new connections, while also making sure everything is clean before sealing it up, and shipping it back to you!
WHEN SHIPPING YOUR TCU:
Absolutely DO NOT attempt to open the metal OEM sealed TCU board casing yourself before shipping it to us.
PLEASE handle TCU housing and provided PCB with extreme care and CAREFUL PACKAGING when shipping your TCU housing and PCB to us as we WILL NOT be responsible for any damage in shipping.
PLEASE place your PCB in an Anti-Static (Electrostatic Discharge) bag to prevent any potential damage to the PCB when shipping to us.
